Terms of Service

Sections a real terms-of-service document needs for a free webmail product:
- Acceptable use policy — explicitly prohibiting spam, phishing, malware distribution, and impersonation, with immediate suspension for violations (critical for protecting domain/IP reputation).
- Storage limits and what happens when a free account exceeds 1GB (grace period, read-only mode, etc.).
- Billing terms for paid storage upgrades — renewal, cancellation, refund policy.
- Account inactivity/deletion policy (e.g. accounts unused for N months may be reclaimed).
- Service availability disclaimer (no uptime guarantee on a free tier, if applicable).
- Limitation of liability and indemnification.
- Governing law and jurisdiction.
- How you'll notify users of policy changes.
